A late 1800’s classic Brownstone on one of the most prominent blocks in Boston, our team selected all of the interior finishes for this renovation and completed a full-scale interior design for the property.

Originally owned by a flower merchant in the Gilded Age, our team referred to this project the Flower House and took much inspiration to uncover and restore original elements like botanical carvings on the mantle, and the ballroom-scale doors to the kitchen and dining room. We hand-drew the moulding and paneling, and created bespoke vanities in the bathrooms to maximize storage and style. Much of the furniture is bespoke, and was presented to the clients in a way to show how contemporary and classic elements make the perfect pairing, rooted in the undeniable glamour and handmade quality of the past while bringing in a breath of modernity with clean lines of the furnishings and art.

It was a creative pleasure to collaborate with artisans from Spain, London, Scotland and more to bring together subtle, yet luxurious finishes and pieces for this couple to enjoy as this home enters into it’s next chapter while retaining it’s original charm and detail.
